“Knowing that we can be loved exactly as we are gives us all the best opportunity for growing into the healthiest of people.”
Mr. Rogers (Fred Rogers)
A brief list of related websites are listed below
under the umbrella of myasthenia gravis
The sites on this list are a beginning, and were selected from many available on the internet ‘under the umbrella’ of Myasthenia Gravis. Begin uncovering information here, and once started, ‘ask Alexa or Siri’- you will discover many more!

Website list focus:
- About MG
- About MG Self-care
- MG Newsletters & Other
- MG studies and reports
- Books, videos, podcasts still to be listed, but you can search.
- Research articles and conference reports still to be listed.
Myasthenia Gravis Insights does not endorse any specific MG sites on the internet. I, too, am always looking and learning, as well.
These sites appear to have information that can help us start gathering information about MG. Make a comment if you know a site that is especially appropriate for this page, especially for beginners to start learning about myasthenia gravis, all for information gathering – it can be added to the list. Always ‘reboot’ any page for most recent content.
This list does not intend to show preference. Instead, it is an alphabetical list presented in one place. Doctors may have preferred sites for you to study. Ask. And, if your doctor mentions one, visit it.
When we search, one thing leads to another… The trick is getting started, because once searching begins, there is much to learn…begin right here.
Once a preferred site is discovered, then the reader will likely be seeking information beyond the scope and purpose of this site.
Remember, we are located in Ontario, Canada, but that only means you might hear a Canadian/American accent! Myasthenia Gravis does not know country boundaries or languages. Perhaps the Google translation widget in the right column can help you if you are more comfortable with another language.
I wish you a successful journey.

Eventually, I hope to be able to have time to add these links. There is much to do, but you can find what is online.
Some will be basic and some will be quite detailed – viewer’s choice. When ready, you may choose to pursue a fuller scope of what is available.
SUPPORT LINKS – SOCIAL, ONLINE, SOCIETIES, GOVERNMENTS
In addition to above sites, there are site links noted specifically for support of those with MG. See our page, Supporting One Another.
Beyond what is listed above
Beyond the incredible wealth of online resources, there are books and reference materials in local, city and university libraries, public and private, even in some hospitals, that might assist any search—call and find out what might be available. Adult and child level stories can give the writer’s perspective and experiences for us to learn from and evaluate against your own situation. Medical books sometimes are more detailed, but with important information, depending on what we are looking for.
We might find YouTube videos that are helpful, or podcasts. Different sites that talk about myasthenia may offer various helpful live presentations, zoom gatherings, or may schedule webinars, all of which can prove beneficial in research.
Never give up the quest! Google is not a doctor, but has much information for discovery.

It is possible that as I find more sites and more studies and more newsletters, and as stories begin to surface, more will be considered for addition here.
Suffice it to say, there is quite a bit to launch a research journey as it sits here now. Get a note pad or journal and sharp pencil.
Thank you for taking time to learn about myasthenia gravis.
Remember, share with one other person to raise awareness!
This is an awareness site only.
No diagnosis or treatment suggestions. Mainly, it is support and links to help those who are searching for ‘why they have weak muscles.’
